(1)I need help in decided which version to enter into the "Scott Kelby photo walk contest", last Saturday I participated in the walk and we were all asked to send in 2 of our favorite photos from the walk, our group walked around the "Pearl District" downtown. This is one of my favorite photo's from the walk.. But I need to know which is your favorite version of the same photo..

1st fondant cake!

Last night in Cake Decorating class, we learned how to make a fondant cake. I have to admit it was not as hard as I thought it might be, but I did learn you need to have a really straight cake on all sides!

Janet and I got a crazy idea to go up to Trillium Lake for a sunrise, after waking up at 2am, we are seeking psychiatric help, we arrived at about 4:40 am, we were hoping for a beautiful pink/orange sunrise. Well we can all dream. Needless to say we only saw a small glimpse of pink, so after taking a short hike around the lake, we headed up to Timothy lake for a few more pictures and a little sunbathing..
